Hybrid Creative Designer
As an Asian, I did not follow the traditional route of what my parents expected of me which is being a doctor, enginner or lawyer. Instead, I beat the odds and become a Creative Designer.
Since young, I love doodling and once I accidentally doodled on the wall which made my mother very furious! But that did not stop me. I remembered printing my first drawing in school and was in awe. I thought, "WOW! I can translate my imagination into reality!” So much endless opportunities to express my creativity and annoy my parents by photoshopping them.
This passion eventually carried me through my education at Chatsworth Mediart Academy. I studied how to balance design, applying creativity to print and digital media properly and correctly, create a magazine and packaging from scratch. And it was here that I truly learned how much there was yet to learn.
Since I started out my creative journey in 2014, this passion is still resonating strongly with me. Through the mentorship of my lecturers and superiors, I also take the liberty to guide my juniors. My philosophy is that I believe there is so much to learn, problems to solve and much more designs to create.
